Last Sunday 19th March around fifty people flocked to James Prospect home for another tremendously successful Shared Lunch in the landscaped grounds of his bungalow. The mild autumn weather was pefect and as usual, guests brought enough food for a banquet. More of these fantastic functions will be on the program shortly.
Around 120 people attended Richard's BBQ/House Party last Saturday night. The weather was quite mild and in the tradition we are used to, his Edwardstown backyard buzzed and hummed all evening with the sounds of conversation, music and dancing.
The event raised $580, of which $400 was donated to the Adelaide Zoo, $140 was given to the Chinese Moon Bear Rescue Appeal and $40 went to the Port River Dolphin appeal.
This type of event is an extremely successful way for people to meet other single people in a relaxed environment. Its a great deal better then the bar and 'meat market' scene.
