Rocket Rod has restarted the North Adelaide Walking Group as from April 2007. He was previously well known as a prolific organiser of walks primarily along the sea-front.
His group will now meet virtually every Sunday in the car park at the rear of the Quantum Bookshop, Melbourne Street, North Adelaide for a walk commencing at 11 AM. Following a walk of around 1 1/2 hours, lunch will be at one of the many quality dining spots in the North Adelaide precinct.
Walkers can walk as fast or as slowly as they like. Some may retire early and beat the rest back to the dining venue for a drink or two beforehand.
On some occasions, the meeting place will vary from North Adelaide, however Rod will give four weeks notice of venue changes.
