The Sol Bar

Friday Nights

Located in Holdfast Shores development, The Sol Bar is where `Horizons` at The Grand Hotel shifted to a few years ago. It`s a disco bar with ages mainly from around early thirties to late fifties, but is more at the younger thirties and forties end of the scale. Action starts around 9 PM. Bands are mainly disco style and a DJ plays music in the breaks. Entry is free. The room is large and there is a good dance floor. Attendance of several hundred is common. It`s a swinging hot-spot.
