I read with some amusement a story on the Brisbane Courier Mail website that the Catholic Church in Queensland is performing a record number of exorcisms on people who've dabbled in devil worship. Apparently they see monstrous apparitions. This may well amount to one mirage erasing another. That's not my call. But I do wonder if the Catholic Church isn't scraping the bottom of the support barrel by entertaining these people.
