Met a man for coffee having answered an ad in the paper. When I arrived, I found he was exceedingly nervous - I could tell because perspiration was actually visible on he forehead and lip. He almost looked fearful. I only felt sorry for a split second however, having employed my 'try and relax' way of talking, hoping he would respond.

I met someone at the beach of an afternoon for a walk, after talking to them online for a short while. I don't expect anyone to pretend to be something they are not but this is what he turned up in: dirty, torn tracksuit pants, holey socks with Homey Ped sandals, an old woolen jumper full of holes with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth (despite the fact that he knew I was a non- smoker).
