The Rex Hotel, 172 Richmond Road, Marleston is a place we`ve eaten at many times before. We were impressed with the food last time, so we'll give it another go. Meet from 6.30 PM. Dinner at 7.15 PM. Please book with Gareth by Wed 20/08 if possible. A $3 cover charge would be appreciated.
Join Gareth on a bus tour to the fabulous Barossa Valley for the annual gourmet food and wine weekend. We'll vist at least three wineries chosen on the basis of good music and food. Departing from Edwardstown, we'll stop on a direct route only heading north. More details to be released soon. The cost is $30. You buy your own food and drink. Please advise Gareth ASAP if you would like to attend.
Tonight the Marion Hotel, 849 Marion Road, Mitchell Park will again offer us their hospitality for dinner with top band "Two Hard Basket" entertaining us in the bistro so you should be dancing away the week's trouble and stress before the night is out. Please book for this function by Wednesday 27/08 if possible. Meet at 6.30PM for drinks, 7PM for dinner. A $3 cover charge applies to this function.
A get-together at the renowned Bombay Bicycle Club, 29 Torrens Road, Ovingham from 6.30 PM. Catch up with old friends for a drink and meet some new ones. Meet in the bar area. These functions are extremely good for newcomers to integrate into our network. Bookings aren`t necessary but please let Gareth know you are coming if you can, especially if you will be dining. A contribution of $3 is required to help with costs.
This Friday we meet for after-work drinks and optional meal at The Winston Bar, 192 Pirie Street, Adelaide from 6 PM onwards. Cheryl has negotiated some free beer/wine/soft drinks for our attendees. Meals are available at quite reasonable prices. Please advise if you are likely to attend and if you are likely to be ordering a meal. A $3 cover charge would be appreciated.
